Waterproof connector

Waterproof connectors, as the name implies, are connectors that ensure the mechanical performance and power efficiency of the connector in a humid environment or under a certain water pressure. They can be placed inside the power cord, network cable, etc., while providing a normal and safe power supply, signal transmission, but also a good waterproof and dustproof effect.

One of the most important parameters of a waterproof connector is its IP rating. The IP rating consists of two digits, the first digit indicating the extent to which the device is resistant to dust, or the extent to which people are protected from damage in a sealed environment. I represents the level of prevention of the entry of solid foreign objects, the highest level is 6; the second digit indicates the degree of waterproofing of the equipment. P stands for the level of water ingress prevention, the highest level is 8. For example, the degree of protection of the connector is IP65. Due to its excellent performance and its application in very harsh working environments, waterproof connectors are used in a wide range of applications. For example, in industrial environments, LED lighting, urban outdoor lighting projects, lighthouses, cruise ships, aviation, industrial equipment, cables, sprinklers, etc., need to use waterproof connectors. The military field has strict requirements on connectors, so a large number of waterproof connectors, such as submarine connectors and submersible missile connectors, are also widely used.
